Marcie Pruden, RVT
Marcie graduated from the RVT program at Olds College in 2010. She did her practicum at a equine emergency and referral clinic in Montana. She enjoys snowmobiling, skiing, rodeos, horseback riding and floating down the river on hot days.
Deborah Thorne, RVT
Deb was raised on a small mixed farm in the Peace River area. She attended Fairview College as a mature student and graduated in 1992. She worked as a technician in the Edmonton area for 2 years before moving to Vancouver Island. While there, she worked at a busy mixed practice in Mill Bay for 12 years, doing everything from orthopedics to embryo transfer. Deb started at Leduc Veterinary Hospital in November 2007. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with her grandson.
Sydney Duperron, RVT
Sydney graduated from Lakeland College in 2014, and joined our team following her practicum. She enjoys the outdoors and everything it has to offer, from mountain biking to snowmobiling. She has 2 energetic dogs that keep her very busy. Sydney’s interests in veterinary medicine are animal behaviour, client education and anesthesia.
Heather McGrath, RVT
Heather has been working in the veterinary industry for eight years and graduated from the Animal Health Technologist program at NAIT in 2017. When she's not working she is volunteering with different organizations, spending time with family and friends and traveling when she can! Heather currently works full time at Guardian Veterinary Centre, and works with us part time when she is able! She has a very energetic shepherd puppy named Rupert!
Marjolaine Labbé, RVT
MJ was raised with horses and all kinds of small farm animals in Quebec. She graduated from La Pocatiere college in 2002. MJ really enjoys to be back working in a small animal practice here at The Pet Hospital. In her spare time she likes to explore Alberta with her family.
